Kompass Global Advisory — destinations we work across

About us

Kompass Global Advisory

A 13-year-old practice covering immigration, overseas education, business setup, investment abroad and cross-border advisory — between India and every major Western destination.

Kompass Global Advisory works with people and businesses whose plans cross a border: students choosing a foreign university, professionals moving for work, families reuniting, founders setting up in India or Australia, investors deploying capital overseas, and NRIs and expatriates with interests in both systems.

The firm runs eight service lines — immigration, overseas education and foreign university admissions, business setup in India and Australia, investing abroad, cross-border advisory, NRI and expat advisory, and tax — each with its own team, process and track record.

The practice is led by its founder, Sumit Kumar, a Chartered Accountant and Registered Migration Agent (OMARA, Australian Government) who has spent 13 years in the immigration industry and continues to head casework across every service line.

Positioning

Where our practice sits

Most immigration consultancies

  • Volume-driven, one form after another
  • Lose the thread once the visa is granted
  • No view of the business or investment side of a move

Most advisory firms

  • Comfortable with compliance, not with borders
  • No feel for how case officers actually read a file
  • Cannot advise on the migration route behind a relocation

Kompass Global Advisory

  • 13 years of hands-on immigration and education casework
  • Registered Migration Agent (OMARA, Australian Government) and Chartered Accountant in one advisor
  • From an offer letter to a foreign subsidiary — one accountable advisor

Method

How an engagement runs

Written deliverables at every stage, so you are never guessing what happens next.

  1. Assess

A structured eligibility review: profile, occupation, academics, family situation and realistic destination options mapped in one sitting.

  2. Plan

A written pathway — the route, the documents, the timeline and the total cost, so nothing is improvised later.

  3. Prepare

Documents drafted and checked, tests and assessments scheduled, evidence assembled to the standard a case officer expects.

  4. Lodge

Application filed, tracked and defended through to decision, with every request for information answered on time.

  5. Land

Arrival support: enrolment, banking, registrations, company setup where relevant, and a first-year compliance calendar.

Let's map your pathway — and the money behind it

A first consultation covers eligibility, realistic timelines, total cost and the tax consequences of the move. You leave with a written plan, not a brochure.
